1 teaspoon baking soda 1 drop tea tree essential oil

1/2 teaspoon water

Place baking soda in palm of hand or small vessel and add water, a few drops at a time, until a spreadable paste results. Add the tea tree oil and apply to bee sting. Leave on for as long as needed and reapply new paste if necessary. Makes enough for 1 application.

Vinegar for Wasp Stings

Wasp stings are a1aline and are neutralized by the acidic qualities of vinegar.

Tissue or cloth (sized to cover the bite) vinegar

Make a vinegar compress by saturating a cloth or tissue with vinegar and applying it to the wasp bite. Keep cloth on the bite for several minutes or until discomfort is gone. If cloth begins to dry out, add more vinegar. To keep preparation in place, you may want to wrap and tie a bandage around it. Makes enough for 1 application.
