Barbequed Flank Steak

Serves 2 to 4

Ingredients

2 lbs of flank steak 1/3 cup of soy sauce 2 tsp of apple juice 5 garlic cloves, minced

2 tsp of parsley, chopped

2 tsp of thyme, chopped

2 tsp of basil, chopped pepper

Preparation

• Mix all the ingredients except the steak in a bowl.

• Coat the steak with this marinade.

• Let the steak marinate overnight.

• Barbecue.

Serves 2 to 4

Ingredients

1 lb. of ground turkey breast

2 26-oz. bottles of tomato sauce

5 cloves of garlic, crushed

Italian herbs

basil, fresh

red pepper

black pepper

1/3 cup of red or white wine

salt

Preparation

• Place the ground turkey breast in an open pot and cook on high heat until the meat turns white.

• Add the tomato sauce, stir, and simmer for 3 minutes.

• Add the wine, stir, and continue simmering for 5 minutes.

• Add all the seasonings except the basil. Stir and continue simmering for 2 minutes.

• Add the basil, stir, and remove the pot from the heat.
