This basic oil blend provides a well-balanced, nourishing base that is not too heavy or light and easily absorbed by the skin. It can be used alone or combined with essential oils to create different effects.
12 oz. almond oil 1 oz. wheat germ oil
12 oz. canola oil 4 oz. St. Johnswort-infused olive oil
Combine oils in quart jar, cap and shake well. The oil is ready for use and can be massaged into the skin, added to the bath or used as a base for the recipes that follow.
To make St. Johnswort-infused olive oil, use fresh St. Johnswort flowers and buds and cold pressed olive oil and follow Directions for Herbal-infused Oils with Fresh Herbs.
