Another excellent toner for dry to normal skin.
Use these dried herbs: 1 tablespoon lavender blossoms, 1 tablespoon marshmallow root freshly crushed, 2 tablespoons rose flowers, 2 tablespoons nettle leaf
Make herbal infusion with herbs, 2 oz. of glycerin and water. Let steep for 4-8 hours. Pour 3 oz. of strained infusion, 1 tablespoon of glycerin, and 1 tablespoon of aloe into a jar (preferably a spray mist bottle) and shake. Use up within a couple of months, keep refrigerated and check for bacterial contamination periodically. Apply after cleansing the face or as needed and especially before night slumber. You will end up with extra infusion, which you can use for hair rinse or soaks. Makes 4 oz.
Variation: Add 14 drops of lavender essential oil and 8 drops of rose geranium essential oil. The essential oils, although not necessary, add an appealing scent to the toner, help to preserve it and amplify skin reparative effects.
8 oz. water
2 oz. plus 1 tablespoon glycerin 1 tablespoon aloe vera gel
