And where does your team find inspiration for its stunning designs?

John Charles was established back in 1958, so we have many years of experience when it comes to designing! We’re so proud of our handcrafed pieces, the luxury fabrics that we work with (we only work with the very best!) and, most of all, our innovative approach in bridal. We make sure we’re always ahead of the curve when it comes to the latest, hottest trends.

Clean, chic and delicately embroidered, with subtle prints that give a mother-of-the-bride a more contemporary look. Lace will still be big, sensually applied to necklines and sleeves. Colour-wise, keep things neutral next season. It’s a timeless palette, great for many diferent styles and the perfect wardrobe staple for any occasion.

How should I best match my accessories?

At John Charles, we like to create pieces that work seamlessly from day to night, meaning you can use your gown again as evening wear afer the big event! My top tip? When it comes to colour, the best thing to do is talk to the bride and fnd out what colour palette she is working with. Tat way, you can pick up on subtle accents of her palette with your outft. Also, think about the venue: a decadent evening gown might not look right at a rustic-chic country-barn ceremony!

You might be surprised at what really suits you! If your hat is comfortable and securely placed, it will give you the confdence you need for the big day. For our new collection, we collaborated with the super-talented milliner Vivien Sherif, who has created some stunning, up-to-the-minute designs. And finally… which celebrity would you most like to dress? I think Michelle Obama always looks so sophisticated. She has a classic style that she efortlessly mixes with contemporary fashions. It’s an ultra-glamorous look that I have always admired. Something from our new season would look fabulous on her!
