TwistOuts

TwistOuts are simply twists unraveled. To achieve a well-defined TwistOut you need to use a great product. Creams, puddings and gels can have different holding power. My go to faves are Blended Beauty Happy Nappy Styles, Miss Jessie’s Unscented Curly Pudding, Miss Jessie’s Baby Buttercreme, and Pur Whipped Jelly.

How to Achieve a Well-Defined TwistOut:

Step One: Start with a Secure Two-Strand Twist.

Step Two: When twists are completely dry, carefully unravel each twist. Depending on the fullness desired, section out each twist into 4 to 6 segments.

Step Three: Use your fingers to massage and loosen hair at the roots to hide comb lines. Step Four: Fluff out, shake and style!

The Perfect Puff

In a rush and need a quick and fly style? Puffs are quick, easy and look fab! They can be casual or elegant. I started playing around with puffs when my hair was about 3 inches long.
