Cauliflower And Egg Savoury Recipe

Cooking Time: about 20 minutes.

You will need for 4 servings:

1 pint basic white.

1 cauliflower

2 eggs, hard-boiled sauce (82) chopped parsley.

1 Break the cauliflower up into flowerets and cook in boiling salted water until just tender.

2 Drain well, and put into a hot dish with the sliced hard-boiled egg, saving a Utile egg yolk for garnish – keep hot.

3 Make the sauce, season carefully and pour over the cauliflower and egg.

4 Decorate with the sieved hard-boiled egg yolk and chopped parsley.

Celery and tomato sauce.

Cooking Time: about 20 minutes.

You will need for 4 servings: 1-2 heads celery, 1 teaspoon lemon according to size juice 1 pint cheese sauce 3-4 tomatoes, peeled (83) and sliced.

3 oz. Grated cheese chopped parsley.

1 oz. Butter.

1 Prepare the celery, cut into about 2-in. Lengths and cook in boiling salted water.

2 Make the cheese sauce, using some of the water in which the celery was cooked, if Dked.

3 Add butter, most of the cheese, lemon juice and drained celery.

Correct the seasoning.

4 Put into a greased fireproof dish. Sprinkle the rest of the cheese on top and arrange slices of tomato round the edge.

5 Brown under a hot grill or in the oven.

6 Sprinkle parsley on top.
