Chamomile vinegar is an excellent, relaxing, anti-inflammatory preparation when added to the soaking water. This is also the recipe for an excellent hair rinse for light-haired fo1s.
Use 2 handfuls of freshly dried chamomile flowers to 10 oz. of organic raw apple cider vinegar and follow Directions for Herbal-infused Vinegars with Dried Herbs. Or use fresh chamomile flowers and follow Directions for Herbal-infused Vinegars with Fresh Herbs. Add 1-2 tablespoons of chamomile vinegar per soak. Using dried chamomile, the yield is approximately 7-8 oz. of vinegar, enough for 8-16 soaks; using fresh, the yield will vary according to the size of the jar used for the vinegar infusion.
