After all, their overall goal is for you to leave feeling well, happy, and satisfied with the experience. If your discomfort isn’t addressed, leave the treatment room and find a supervisor or the director, and explain what has happened and why you are concerned. Such incidents are very rare, however, and most beauty spa staff are able to adapt to the client’s needs and wishes with no trouble at all, and deliver excellent service. After all, their living depends on your returning! As the Session Ends Many beauty spa clients feel so relaxed and positive about what the services they receive have been able to do for them, they wonder if they are allowed to stay longer than their scheduled time. In fact, if you are as relaxed as you should be during a session, you may give no thought at all to the time that has passed! Ordinarily, a therapist or other staff member will signal that the time you have reserved is coming to an end. They will find a way to tactfully note that you’re welcome to take your time getting up and ready to leave, and they will leave the room. As wonderful as you may feel, it’s important to remember that others are probably scheduled to use the room after you. Although the staff schedules appointments with suitable time in between to allow clients to get themselves together, it’s courteous not to cut things too close. Do take your time, but be considerate, as you would like others to be to you. Most beauty spas invite visitors to stay at the beauty spa as long as they wish, even after the scheduled services are over.
