Cocktail Recipes Using Vodka

Sweet Egg Nog.

You will need for 12-14 persons:

6 eggs 2 pints thick cream.

8 tablespoons sugar 4 teaspoon ground.

4 bottle whisky cloves.

4 pint rum 4 teaspoon ground.

4 pint brandy nutmeg.

2 pints milk.

1 Separate the eggs, putting the whites into a mixing bowl and the yolks into the punch bowl.

2 Beat the egg yolks until smooth, adding 4 tablespoons sugar at the same time.

3 Still stirring, gradually add the whisky, rum and brandy.

4 Set this mixture aside and whip the egg whites until stiff adding the remaining sugar.

5 Then stir the milk and cream into the mixture in the punch bowl.

6 Fold in stiff egg whites.

7 Sprinkle with the cloves and nutmegs and serve.

Frozen Egg Nog.

You will need for 8-10 persons:

2 pints thick cream 4 bottle brandy.

6 egg yolks 1 teaspoon grated.

8 tablespoons sugar nutmeg.

4 bottle rum.

1 Whip the cream until stiff and store in the refrigerator.

2 Beat the egg yolks until smooth, adding the sugar at the same time.

3 Combine with the whipped cream.

4 Store in the refrigerator until firm.

5 Add the rum and brandy to the frozen mixture.

6 Sprinkle with nutmeg and serve.
