Game of Thrones season seven is coming, and we already got a glimpse of this amazing half-up style that Daenerys wears in the new season. We all know the mother of Dragons is also the queen of braids, and I couldn't resist recreating this hairstyle. Step one, you're going to lace braid the top. On one side of your part, pick up a section of hair, and begin braiding under. While going back at a slight angle, pick up new hair every time you braid the top section.

This is like a Dutch braid but we're only gonna bring in hair from the top, not the bottom. Once you've done about four to five stitches of lace braid, you can braid the rest normally for a few more inches, and secure it with an elastic, then do the same thing on the other side.
Next, we're gonna braid the crown. Pick up the hair at the top of your hair between the two braids we just made. Split that hair into three, and braid all the way down, and secure it with an elastic. Now we're going to Dutch braid the temples so you're gonna pick up a section of hair just below the lace braid you did previously. Begin braiding back incorporating hair from both sides for about three to four stitches, leaving a little bit of hair over the ears, then braid the rest of the hair normally, and secure it with an elastic. Repeat the same thing on the other side. Now we're gonna tie it all together.
We're gonna clip that normal braid on top of your head and out of the way, then bring the first two braids together, and secure them with an elastic. Then braid the resulting pony tail all the way down, and you guessed it, secure it with an elastic. Then do the same thing with the remaining two braids. Bring them together, then braid the resulting pony tail all the way down. And now we finally get to make that amazing bun. Start by letting down the normal braid that we clipped up, and create the outside circle of the bun, making sure to keep the other two braids in the middle. Next, twist another braid in the opposite direction inside of the first circle, and then pin it in place. Finally, twist that last braid around the inside of the circle, and pin it in place. And now I bet you thought we were done. Nope. We have two more braids.
Grab the section of hair just below and behind the start of the Dutch braid, and begin braiding back. If you can, braid in some more hair as you go but it's okay if you don't. A normal braid is totally fine right here. Once it's long enough to reach the back of the head, you can hold your place, and do the same thing on the other side. Finally, tie the two together with an elastic, and wrap it with leather cord. And that is it, one amazing hairstyle and arm workout in one. I always love Daenerys' hairstyles, and this one is no exception. While it is a ton of steps, they're not particularly hard so I encourage you to give it a try if you want to. And that's it for today's Post. I hope you enjoyed it.
