Jason and I were both enjoying our jobs, and we had saved enough to buy our first home in Grenada Village in Wellington. A little later, after making some friends who were in the property investment game, we got into buying, doing up and renting out investment properties. Our jobs meant we were busy during the week; now we were busy on the weekends, too, painting and doing other DIY tasks. We also started to plan a wedding.
