WE’RE TALKING TO Emma Stone The model, actress and Skechers ambassador, 37, chats about her happy and healthy lifestyle.

1. WHAT IS YOUR EXERCISE REGIME?

‘I do a lot of gardening, which is great cardio. I live on an apple and pear farm, so I’m always running the wheelbarrow up and down the hill when I’m pruning, which keeps me fit. My boyfriend Jeremy goes for a run every morning so sometimes I’ll go with him or I’ll ride my bike. I’m not really a gym girl any more; when I’m in LA I’ll go to the gym and do yoga, but when I’m in England I like going for long country walks and being active outside.’

2. HOW WELL DO YOU EAT?

‘I eat lots of fresh fruit in the morning and I enjoy a good healthy salad for lunch. I love my protein, so I eat a lot of eggs and chicken too. I’ve tried to cut things out of my diet and restrict myself, but I feel as if my body needs a little bit of everything, otherwise I can’t function properly and I’m not as happy.’

3. WHAT’S YOUR WELLBEING PHILOSOPHY?

‘It’s accept your body shape, don’t set your expectations too high, and do everything in moderation. I look at people like Kim Kardashian and Jennifer Lopez who are strong, beautiful women with curves and I think that’s more my body type. So I don’t need to drive myself mad to have an athletic body when I can eat well, be active and still look great. I try to promote a healthy lifestyle, eating in moderation, being active and happy, because I believe that’s the best thing for your wellbeing. Along with plenty of sleep, being stress-free and drinking plenty of water is what will get you looking and feeling great.’

4. HOW WOULD YOU DESCRIBE YOUR ATHLEISURE STYLE?

‘I go from wearing leggings and a tank top to jeans and a T-shirt. My style is very basic. As I’m always running around in the garden, I love wearing my YOU by Skechers trainers below because they’re so comfortable and easy to wear. Most of the time, I wear comfortable clothing and shoes, but I still want to look nice. I’m rarely in heels or on a red carpet in a dress; it’s not my lifestyle anymore.’

5. WHAT’S YOUR FAVOURITE WORKOUT?

‘My favourite workout at the moment has to be dance, so I’ll go to a class whenever I can. I follow all the LA dancers on Instagram. I don’t look at people’s bodies; I just look at what their bodies can do. When I see amazing dancers, I think to myself, “I want my body to be able to move like that”. I don’t think, “I want your arms or your abs”. I just like strong, athletic and capable women — I don’t care what they look like.’
