For pimply or acne-prone skin it is beneficial to use mask 3 times a week. Ideally, mask
should be applied following a steam or Facial Hot Pack treatment because the pores are then
open, which allows the mask formula to penetrate more deeply.
You may wish to try one of the mask from the first chapter indicated for acne-prone skin, such as the Whole-Wheat Flour Cleansing Mask. The following mask contain ingredients that are antimicrobial, astringent and soothing, making them perfect for broken-out or acne-prone skin. They are meant to provide the skin with gentle, sustained cleansing without causing further irritation. Please refer to 13 for Basic Mask Technique.
