Steaming is an excellent cleansing technique for acne-prone skin, as it helps open pores and release subdermal toxins. If you have acne or pimply skin you may wish to do a steam 3 times a week. After a steam the pores are wide open, so applying an appropriate mask or scrub is recommended to continue the deep-pore cleansing process.
