I’m really hyped to show you guys the collection! Nena & Pasadena is a Melbourne-based streetwear brand with a huge following Down Under. But now it’s time to showcase the brand here. The label is best known for its premium and unique graphic and printed tees. We launched this summer in Harrods, which is amazing, and as well as being stocked in some of the country’s finest independents, we’ll be in selected House of Fraser stores from this winter.
Who is the label aimed at?
A guy who likes to look and feel good without trying too hard. He loves his sport, music, girls and design. I think the loaded guy will love the graphic print sweaters for the winter.
I’ve always been a massive fan and I wear the T-shirts and sweaters when I travel around the world. When they asked me to become a shareholder of the brand, it seemed to be the natural step to start working with the brand here in the UK with my team. I am heavily involved in building on the Nena & Pasadena label within the UK market, when my cricket commitments allow of course.
Yeah, most of the guys are fans of Nena & Pasadena, as are many of my friends who are in the sports, music and film industries. I’m very fortunate to have friends in high places.
What are your three main fashion tips?
I’m definitely a T-shirt and jeans guy, so I’d say a Nena & Pasadena T-shirt, jeans and a pair of sunglasses -you can’t go wrong!
Ha! The missus always has her say, but I like to think that I’m pretty good at dressing myself.

So, will it be 5-0 whitewash in Australia this winter?
Any Ashes win is special, but it’s something none of us will take for granted going into this series.
Do you and the England boys still play credit card roulette when you go out to dinner?
No. I had to retire due to a very poor run – it was getting expensive.
Which skipper do you prefer – Andrew Strauss or Alastair Cook?
They’re both great captains but with slightly different styles, and
both have made their mark on the English game. Cooky will go on and be one of the all-time England greats, and he will be around for a lot more years yet.
Who’s the biggest joker in the dressing room?
When Ravi Bopara is about he is always the joker.
