A mixture of antimicrobial, cell-healing herbs for mouth sores and gum infections. My partner, Tim, who since childhood has periodically suffered from mouth sores, uses this formulation with great success.
2 large handfuls of the following plantain leaf, echinacea purpurea mixture of fresh herbs in equal leaf (when chopped the herbs quantities, chopped: Comfrey leaf, should equal 2 cups packed) violet leaf, spilanthes flowers, 1 cup water Chop up herbs and place in blender or food processor, add the water slowly to create a slurry with the consistency of very loose pesto or a thick liquid, pour into a jar, cap and store in the refrigerator. Will keep in the refrigerator for 4-5 days.
To use, sip a mouthful and retain inside mouth for as long as tolerable, spit out and repeat several times a day or as needed. These herbs are not only safe but beneficial when ingested, so don’t worry about swallowing them.
