Haircare Guide For Best Haircuts For Round Oval Faces
Rinse with cold water. Rinsing with cold water seals and smoothes the hair cuticle, makes it extra shiny and diminishes frizz and fluffy, flyaway hair. By locking the follicle, the hair will appear sleeker and shinier.
Apply styling products to dripping wet hair. As I mentioned earlier I start with coconut, argan or jojoba oil. Next I apply my leave-in conditioner. Always use conditioner liberally, directly on your wet hair, paying special attention to the ends. Finger the product thoroughly through the hair from the scalp all the way out to the ends, making sure that every strand is coated.
Avoid terry cloth towels. A microfiber towel or an old t-shirt can be used to remove the excess water after your products have been applied. Microfiber towels speed up the drying time and reduce frizz. It is a super absorbent material. You want to avoid wringing or rubbing your hair with the towel. Doing so will break up the curls you just shaped, create friction and can cause breakage and split ends. The key when using any towel is flip your head over and scrunch up. You can, if you prefer, (which I do) wrap your hair up in the towel turban style. The microfiber does not disturb the cuticle – rather it smoothes it down, reducing frizz.
