If you doze any longer, you’ll feel groggy for up to an hour afterwards. Why? Because your body falls into its deep sleep stage, and waking up during this time can be pretty disorienting. A short nap, meanwhile, will leave you feeling energised. If you need more zzz, aim for 90 minutes, as this is a complete sleep cycle.
