A strong antimicrobial cleanser.
Use the following dried herbs: 1 tea- 2 teaspoons baking soda spoon echinacea root,l teaspoon 2 teaspoons sea salt prickly ash bark (cut) 9 drops tea tree essential oil 1 teaspoon whole cloves 15 drops mint or other oil of choice 1/2 teaspoon myrrh powder for flavor and cleansing purposes
With the exception of myrrh, it is best to buy the herbs as whole as possible and to then cut and grind them prior to use. Grind cut herbs in coffee grinder used exclusively for herbs and seeds, sift through fine-mesh strainer to get a very fine powder, add myrrh powder, baking soda and salt and mix well, drop in the essential oils (stirring after each addition), and store in a glass jar with a tight-fitting lid. To use, sprinkle powder lightly onto moistened toothbrush. Makes enough for 40 or more brushings.
