A deep-cleansing, skin-toning, invigorating scrub.
5 tablespoons sea salt 4 drops lavender essential.
1/2 teaspoon olive oil water.
Place salt in bowl, drop in the lavender essential oil, stir thoroughly, add the olive oil and stir thoroughly again. Sprinkle in a small amount of water, just enough to moisten the salt mixture, and then massage into the skin. Rinse off. Makes 1 treatment.

I’m happiest when everything in life feels balanced and when the important people in my life are taken care of. I am also happy when I am empowering women. Mindfulness is the process of bringing one is attention to experiences occurring in the present moment; this is said to reduce overthinking and worrying about the past and the future, and contributes to a sense of peace and calm. Whether you spend a dedicated amount of time each day meditating, or simply live your life in a generally mindful way, it can be hugely beneficial to your mental makeup and well-being. If I don not take time to slow my mind, focus on the present and connect with what is happening right in front of me, I can get caught up angsting over what has happened in the past and worrying about things that may (or may not) happen in the future, and I burn out physically and mentally. One of the things that helps me to feel happy and at peace is just having a good open and honest chat to the people in my life who I love and who love me: especially my husband and kids. We love to reminisce about good times we have had together, discuss each other is goals and achievements and make exciting plans together. I love doing the same with my extended family and good friends.
