Homemade Using Alcohol as Preservative Basic Formula

As a general rule, 1/2 cup of water-based liquid such as juice or an infusion will be preserved by 1/2 cup of 80 proof liquor. A product needs to contain 15-20 percent alcohol to stay preserved.

Witch Hazel Deodorants. Distilled witch hazel, available at pharmacies, makes an adequate deodorant on its own or used as a base to which essential oils can be added.

 I felt positive, strong and confident, like a better mother and wife. My skin was clearer, my moods were more consistent, and I was sleeping better. It had become about much more than just looking good in a bikini. I also couldn not ignore the impact my transformation and sharing on Facebook was having on other women. I settled back into work, but also began to think more and more about the interest my journey was garnering, and the idea that maybe I could do something bigger with it.
