Jennifer Lopez Oscars 2018 Inspired Look Drugstore Makeup Tutorial

Hey guys, in this post I partnered up with L’Oreal Paris Canada to bring you this drugstore makeup lick I don’t know, if you watched the Oscars last weekend that I did. And I just fell in love with Jennifer Lopez’s look she had rose gold eyeshadow and pink lips and today I decided to recreate something similar. So let’s begin first of all you want to apply a base on your lid. So here. I’m using L’Oreal color riche eyeshadow primer I like to apply the product on my fingers first and then dab it all over my lids this will prevent the crown from tugging on your skin and it also gets you a nice even coverage next. I’m going to use my too much blush and innocent blush as an eyeshadow I switch brushes here.

Because I needed something a little bit fluffier. But basically this is a transition color. So you want to apply it along your crease going into my luminous ombre eyeshadow quad in rose needed. I’m going to pick up this beige color with a sponge applicator and apply this on my lids now these eyeshadows can be used wet or dry. But I prefer to use them dry. Because they’re already pretty pigmented however, if you want your look to look more intense you can definitely foil them to give my eyes that rosy glow that Jennifer had. I’m going to pick up this color and apply it on my crease first.

I’m going to blend it with the lid color to give it that ombre effect and then. I’m going to put some of the eyeshadow on a blending brush. And I’m going to bring this color up all the way close to my brow bone normally I wouldn’t drink a colored eyeshadow up this high. But since it looks. So great on JLo. I’m going to give it a try next.

I’m going to use the darkest shade in my luminous ombre eyeshadow quad in absolute taupe. And I’m going to apply this color along my upper lash line, if you have almond shaped eyes this set will definitely make your eyes appear larger going back to the Rose nude quad. I’m going to pick up the lightest shade and use it for highlighting apply this highlight shade on your brow bone to give your eyebrows a lift and on the inner corner of your eyes to bring light to them, if you look at the pidgeotto J Lo’s makeup artist apply some of the same color that he had on the lids on her bottom lash line. So again. I’m going to go into my Rose nude spot pick up this pinky shade and apply it along my bottom lash line to define my eyes. I’m going to use the L’Oreal infallible super slim 12 hour liquid eyeliner and this is one of the tiniest felt chip liners I’ve ever used it’s really precise and it’s very long-lasting next.

I’m going to curl my lashes and apply mascara here. I’m using the l’oreal voluminous butterfly in the midnight black now de lille didn’t use any black eyeliner along her bottom lashline she just had a lot of lashes I don’t. So I’m going to apply three coats of mascara to my bottom lashes to complete my eye makeup look. I’m going to apply some dramatic false lashes and now moving on to face. I’m going to use my L’Oreal visible lift blur foundation with a makeup sponge this foundation was actually targeted at women with mature skin. But since I have dry skin I find it to be really moisturizing and it also does a great job of blurring my smile lines to further conceal any red spots and to highlight some areas of my face. I’m going to use my L’Oreal True Match super blendable cream concealer I tend to use a makeup brush or sponge to blend concealer.

But for this product it’s best to use your fingers to set the foundation in the concealer. I’m going to use the infallible Pro matte 16 hour powder in nude beige now our face wasn’t matte like this, it was really dewy and glowy. So to get that look. I’m going to use my True Match flush and barely blushing this is a mid-tone beige blush with slight shimmer. So it will give you that nice glow. But also add a little bit of color to your face for this she went with the color pink. So I’m going to use this shade called Julian’s nude from collection Peavey and finally to prolong the wear of my makeup.

I’m going to use the infallible makeup extender settings free to use this you want to shake the bottle very well hold it eight inches away close your eyes and spray four to six times in an X and T motion for hair she threw it up into a high sleep ponytail. So I’m going to do the same next. I’m going to use my Loreal Elnett satin hairspray in extra stronghold to tame down the flyaways and smooth out my hair to get my ponytail a little bit of volume like hers. I’m going to curl my hair with a curling iron and finally, if you want lasting curls definitely spray them with hairspray. So after I posted this part I realized that she didn’t even have things. So what I did next was I took a bobby pin. And I clipped my bangs up after combing out my hair and applying more hairspray I got this slick.
