I need to make a new life without George’ Kerry’s told pals she won’t take him back he’d fuelled rumours of a possible reunion when she admitted she was still madly in love with her estranged husband, and when asked if she’d take him back, cryptically admitted: I haven’t got a crystal ball. But Kerry Katona, 35, has told pals that she’s finally ready to let go of hopes of getting back with husband George Kay.
The pair’s rocky relationship ended in October, after 13 months of marriage, amid claims he’d assaulted her.
George, 36, appeared in Brighton Magistrates’ Court last month charged with assault as well as possessing a banned weapon, relating to a Taser gun, and possessing a bladed article – a hunting knife found in a wardrobe. He’s set to appear in Crown Court to face charges in January.
But Kerry – who’s mum to Molly, 14, and Lilly-Sue, 12, with ex-husband Brian McFadden, Heidi, eight, and Max, seven, with second husband Mark Croft and Dylan-Jorge, 20 months, with George – has reassured friends that although she misses George, she won’t go backto him.
A source reveals: Kerry knows she has to cut all ties with George. It’s finally hit home that it’s never going to work between them and she needs to make a new life for herself and the children.
Kerry’s vowed to give the kids a really special Christmas. It’s her turn to have Molly and Lilly-Sue, so all five children will be at home and she’s getting her mum Sue round to help with the cooking. Kerry’s planning one big last blow-out before knuckling down and shaping up in the New Year.
