SEATED CAT STRETCH
Pull the chair back from the desk slightly to give yourself more room, Layered long straight haircuts then bend forward and clasp your ankles.
Carefully arch your back to stretch, then relax back and repeat.
Sit fairly upright, then lift and straighten each leg alternately. Repeat a few times.
Flex the foot to stretch the calf muscle. Repeat a few times.
Turn your head to one side, feeling the extension in the neck muscles.
Repeat, turning the head from side to side. Do both steps quite slowly.
ARM AND CHEST STRETCH
I Sitting upright, link your hands together palms away from your body, and push your arms straight out in front of you. Hold for a couple of seconds, relax and then repeat.
I Stretch your arms up in the air over your head. As you breathe in, arch your back ever so slightly. Relax with the exhalation and repeat the exercise a couple of times.
ARM AND BACK STRETCH
I Link your hands together behind your back, over the top of the chair and lift your arms slightly. Do not strain yourself. Push away from your body, hold, then repeat the exercise.
