After that, I got bored. And now, here I am I am not bored anymore; I get to see and talk with people every day. Now, I have got purpose again. Another older friend was a golf nut and had looked forward to playing every day. After about a year of retirement and his heavily senior discounted rounds, I joined him at one of the local courses. He played like crap, which made it a highly competitive round. So, I asked him, do you enjoy playing every day? He shrugged his shoulders. It is great, he said. But I really do not care how well I play anymore, because I know I will be out again tomorrow. In other words, his passion for the game was gone.
