AVOID ALCOHOL AND CAFFEINE

Eliminating alcohol, caffeine and spicy foods from your diet can reduce the hot-flush symptoms of menopause. In addition, caffeine can cause insomnia and lead to the greater loss of calcium from the body.

TAKE SOYA TO PREVENT SYMPTOMS

At the outset, it might not seem that losing the sense of smell is a big deal. Except that it can be. Imagine walking past a bakery and not being able to smell the wonderful aroma of baking bread or cookies. As we all know, ofen, the scent of a familiar aroma from cooking or baking can take us back to our youth. And, anything that can take us back to our youth is a welcome respite from this old business. Even that, however, is something we can live without, if we have to. But what about when something is burning and we can’t smell it? Or, what if food has gone bad? The first thing we usually do is stick the food up to our nose and take a whiff. And what if there is a fire in the basement and we can’t smell the smoke? So, even though we can still live without the pleasant smells of food cooking or baking, how do we protect ourselves if we can’t smell the bad smells? Now, I certainly do not want to be the bearer of bad news (seeing as this may very well affect me, too), but I have learned that many serious diseases are associated with olfactory loss or deterioration. The biggest of which is a shorter life beauty span. But I won’t go into all of that.
