Marrow Savoury Recipe
Cooking Time: 25 minutes.
You will need for 4 servings: equal quantities of 4 oz. Grated cheese cooked marrow, salt and pepper cooked rice and 2 oz. Butter cooked potato, about 1 cup of each.

2 Put a layer into a greased fireproof dish, sprinkle with some of the remaining cheese and a few flakes of butter.
3 Add another layer of vegetables, sprinkle with cheese and continue until the ingredients are used up, finishing with grated cheese and flakes of butter.
4 Bake for about 20 minutes in a moderate oven (350°F – Gas Mark 4).
Savoury marrow rings.
Cooking Time: 20-25 minutes.
You will need for 4 servings: 1 medium-sized 2 hard-boiled eggs marrow 1 oz. Walnuts 3 tablespoons salt and pepper breadcrumbs nutmeg 1 tablespoon milk 1 egg 3 oz. Grated cheese.
Peel the marrow and cut into rings about.
1-1 inches thick removing the seeds. Arrange in a greased fireproof dish.
Put the breadcrumbs into a basin with the milk. Leave for a few minutes to soak.
Add the cheese, reserving a little, chopped hard-boiled eggs and chopped nuts.
Add salt and pepper and a good pinch of nutmeg. Bind with beaten egg.
Put this mixture into the centre of each ring of marrow. Sprinkle with remaining cheese and bake for about 20 minutes in a moderately hot oven (375°F – Gas Mark 5).
