Maybelline Amethyst Smokes Eyeshadow Tutorial

Hi guys today I’m going to show you how to do this fun purple smokey eye look and what I use to achieve this look is my Maybelline stylish smooth quad and amethyst smokes and it looks like this, it comes with one matte purple and another shimmery purple and then a frosty white and a black color I really like this, quad except it doesn’t contain a suitable highlight color for me or a highlight I would prefer something that’s Matt and this white color here is just really frosty to be a highlight for me. But I managed to work with it. And I like this, quad it’s pretty pigmented and it’s fairly inexpensive. So you can’t really ask for much and what I have on my lips is my Rimmel lipstick in spotlight beige and it looks like this, it shows up as a orangie nude on me. But I don’t know if this camera is gonna pick it up.

Because the camera is a bit dark right now the lighting and on my cheeks I have on my Mac blush and dainty it’s just a really pearly iridescent pink. And I also contoured my face today I used my stiva bronzing powder in shade 1 and this is my favorite bronzing powder and this is the color it’s really nice really natural. So, if you guys are interested in seeing how I came out this look keep on reading. And I’ll show you how to do it first off. I’m going to prime my lids with Too Faced shadow insurance this will make the eyeshadow last longer. And I’ll make it more vibrant now. I’m going to grab my Sigma shader brush and from the palette.

I’m going to pick up this frosty white color. And I’m going to apply this all over my lids focusing right over here. So I’m just gonna pack the color on. I’m also going to grab some of that white. And I’m just gonna put it right near the inner corner of my eyes now.

I’m going to grab my ELF blending brush. And I’m going to pick up this really pretty iridescent purple. And I’m going to apply this right in my crease. So I’m just gonna drink it here just like. So so now this bright purple is going to be our undertone for our smokey eye now.

I’m going to get my Sigma pencil brush. And I’m going to dip it into the matte purple right here which is a darker purple. And I’m just going to deposit the color right in the crease just like. So and also. I’m going to smoke it out of it.

And. I’m also going to put some right near the inner corner of my eye. And I’m just gonna smoke it in towards the white. So – this time just. So there’s just a bit of white over here peeping through. And

I’m just going to smoke out that purple. I’m also going to put some of the same print ball right underneath my eyes and then connect it with the top shadow over here. So now you should have something that looks like this. I’m just going to grab the same pencil brush and pick up this dark black over here it does have a bit of sparkles in it. But all you have to do to get rid of that is just tap the brush. And I’m going to apply this dark black color right underneath the outer corner.

And. I’m just gonna draw straight line all the way up like. So connecting it with the purple and then. I’m just going to pull the color up like this, this will just add more definition to your outer corner. And I’ll make it look more smoky as well now. I’m going to get a matte eyeshadow. And

I’m using this one from my wet n wild vanity palette it’s a really nice skin tone color it’s gonna pick something up on my blending brush tap it a bit. And I’m going to apply this as a highlight and as. I’m applying this. I’m going to smoke it out with the purple now. I’m going to get my Revlon Colorstay eyeliner. And

I’m going to line my bottom waterline. So this area over here you just pull it and smoke it out of it. And I’m going to grab my L’Oreal liner intense. I’m going to line my night next. I’m going to curl my lashes next. I’m going to grab mascara and apply it to my top and bottom lashes now.

I’m going to get these lashes and some eyelash glue. And I’m going to apply it to the lash band now you have to wait for 30 seconds for the glue on this lash band to become a little bit tacky. So now my lashes are on and there’s a bit of white hair that’s just the glue which it hasn’t dried yet. But basically this is the completed look I hope you guys enjoyed it. And I’ll talk to you soon.
