Mediterranean Body Oil

Olive oil makes an excellent topical treatment for keeping the skin soft and lubricated.

2-3 tablespoons of olive oil (more or less as needed)

Massage olive oil into slightly damp, warm skin. Makes enough for 1 treatment. Variations follow:

1. The olive oil scent may not appeal to some fo1s, and by adding 2 drops of essential oil of choice per tablespoon of olive oil you can produce a more agreeable aroma.

2. Try sesame oil, almond oil, jojoba oil or other carrier oil of choice.

Here they’re having fun at the Skechers 6km run in Auckland. For almost two years I managed to juggle both my full-time job at DTR and Motivate Me and M Fit, but when my own businesses began to require more and more of my time, I decided it was time to fully commit to them. My managers at DTR were amazing and really supportive of my move. (They also said they would welcome me back with open arms if it all went pear-shaped!) As well as being surrounded by colleagues who I respected and who respected me (and here I must mention Garry Stratta, Mark Spring and Heath Brown, especially), my time with the finance company provided me with invaluable financial savvy, which has come in handy time and again in my own endeavours. The Motivate Me membership and community grew consistently and I became really active in setting up events and get-togethers all over New Zealand. There were in particular a couple of annual events that became really special, and members got excited about attending them. Motivate Me sponsored the inaugural Skechers Women is 6km run in Auckland in 2012, and has done every year since. Our members’ attendance numbers grew from around 30 in the first year to 150 in 2016. The Motivate Me birthday parties were always popular, and the third birthday in 2015 saw 200 members travel to New Plymouth for the party. Inevitably, having that many people together in an online group did cause the odd problem.
