Hi, if you’re new here, my name is Annie and I’ll be uploading to Hairstyles every other Thursday. Make sure to comment below if you haven’t already so you don’t miss any future posts, and be sure to give this post a thumbs up, and let’s get on to the tutorial. Start by taking about a two-inch section at your bangs and clip that off. Now take a section at your part line, and we’re going to do a dutch braid. So you’re just gonna add hair into both outside strands and cross it under the middle.

And I’m just gonna pull apart the braid by pulling on the very outer edges. If you don’t have a ton of hair in your bangs like I do, it’s totally fine, you just tie it off to about where your chin is. So now you’ll take a new section behind that one, and we’re going to do a fishtail braid. So you’ll split it into two, take a little section from the outside, cross it over to the other side, and then take a little section from that side, cross it over to the other side, and now you’re gonna add a new section, cross it over to the other side, add a new section, cross it over to the other side, and just continue doing these same steps. Once you reach about your eyebrow you’re going to just cross over strands without adding in hair. And then I’m just gonna pull it apart. A little trick is to hold the braid while you pull it apart.
It’ll make it look like it has more texture to the braid. And now I’m gonna section off from about my ears up and just braid that all the way down in a regular three-strand braid. Now take the remaining hair and add those two braids. And we’re gonna do a messy bun. Just pull apart the messy bun as much as you want and bobby pin it in place if you want, and I’m just gonna pull apart the crown of my hair to give myself a little bit more volume. Now you’re gonna take that bottom braid and wrap it up and over the bun. So if your hair is longer, it’s just gonna keep wrapping around the bun. Take some hair out from around my face and spray it with hair spray and you’re finished. Here is the finished look.
