You may find that your oily skin turns foundation a slight orange or yellow tone. To correct, try using a paler shade of powder (pale yellow powder always does the trick) over your foundation.
Even if you want every product to be oil-free, concealer looks better if it has a creamy consistency. If you tend to have blemishes, consider having a creamy concealer (to match face tone) around just to cover up spots. Look for an oil-free foundation that provides enough coverage to even out skin tone.
Normal-to-Dry Skin: Even with normal-to-dry skin, a moisturizer’s emol-liency helps determine the endurance potential of your makeup. In the summer, when skin is more oily, you may find that makeup is sliding off your face. In this case, you will want to wear a lighter (i.e., less creamy, more absorbing) moisturizer. In the winter months, or when your skin is dry, wear an extra-emollient moisturizer so makeup looks smooth.
Examine how you are using moisturizer it could be that you are applying too much or too little. Adjust the quantity based on your skin’s needs that day.
