Basic Body Oil /Dry/Mature
Choose rich carrier oils, such as olive, jojoba, or avocado for massaging into the skin daily. Many of the creams, oils and balms found throughout this blog can be used to help keep mature skin supple. You may want to apply these formulas both morning and night to help the skin retain its moisture. Avoid using soap, except on the hands, feet, underarms and genital area when necessary. When you do use soap, choose a very mild one. A gentle liquid soap diluted to half its strength is also a good choice for mature skin.
As a rule, when bathing always add a lubricating substance such as jojoba oil, olive oil or cream to the water.
