I feel ashamed admitting this, but it was our reality for a while and I feel sure it is for many other women, too. After I reached out for help and made some key changes, mornings looked completely different. I was happy to get out of bed early, I felt I had purpose, and my daughter and I laughed, joked and cuddled as we got ready. Some people say that medication is a sticking plaster a short-term fix but if nothing else, it gives you time to make the necessary changes in your life to improve your mental makeup long term.
