Ravigote Salad Recipe

You will need for 4 servings:

Lettuce 3-4 tablespoons.

3-4 tomatoes cooked green peas.

4 oz. Ham French dressing (see.

4 oz. Tongue page 82)

3-4 sticks celery.

1 Prepare the lettuce, reserve the heart for garnishing and break up the rest into a salad bowl.

2 Peel and slice the tomatoes, cut the meat into strips and dice the celery.

3 Blend all the ingredients together with a little French dressing and put into the salad bowl.

4 Garnish with the heart of the lettuce.

Ham roll-ups.

You will need for 4 servings:

1 endive or lettuce.

6 oz. Cream cheese salt.

1 teaspoon lemon juice.

3-4 sticks celery, diced.

1 small can crushed pineapple 8 slices cooked ham French dressing (82)

1 Arrange the endive on a large serving dish.

2 Mix the cream cheese with salt, lemon juice and celery.

3 Strain any excess juice from the pineapple, a little can be mixed with the cream cheese if liked but avoid making the mixture too soft.

4 Spread some of the cheese mixture on each slice of ham.

Cover with a spoonful of pineapple and roll up. If necessary serve with a cocktail stick.

5 Toss the endive in a little dressing and arrange the rolls on top.
