WHEN TO COVER THE GREY
If your hair is just beginning to change colour, with the grey making up less than 20% of it, use a semipermanent colour that will begin to fade in about 6-12 washes. For up to 50% grey, opt for a semipermanent that is claimed to last for about 24 washes. Only choose a permanent dye if the majority of your hair has turned grey. If you’re mostly grey, consider a shade slightly darker than your normal colour, because the colour may fade with exposure to sun and shampooing.

Think about these things at the outset. It is also not a good idea to change your branding too often (if at all), so think about lasting power. Don not go for anything too faddy. Get your business on social media especially Facebook. It is essentially a free advertising tool and you would be silly not to use it. Make sure your social media handle is the same across platforms, and that it makes sense! It should be as close to your business name as possible, and easy to find doing a simple search (don not use unnecessary additional punctuation, for instance). Once you’re on there, make sure you stay active. Get your accounts in order. I highly recommend using an accounting platform, and personally I find Xero amazing. I signed up with them about two years into trading and wished that I had been using them from day one.
