Fennel (Foeniculum vulgare) oil has a sweet, spicy and invigorating scent similar to that of anise oil. It serves well in massage oils for colicky or cramping abdomens, and is thus a desirable addition to baby oils.
Fir (Abies canadensis, A. siberiensis) oil smells like the forest and is considered a masculine aroma. It has disinfectant properties and can be added to cleansing creams and body scrubs. It has a strong odor intensity that requires using less of it than you might other oils. Its scent is low and deep.
Geranium Egypt (Pelargonium graveolens) oil has a mid to high, sweet and deep roselike scent, with a very strong odor intensity that easily overpowers other aromas. Use 1/2 -1/2 the amount of geranium egypt as other oils. For example, when malhng 1 oz. of scented body oil, 20 drops of essential oil are generally used; when using geranium egypt essential oil, you will only need to use 5-10 drops, geranium egypt is used extensively in skin care products for its refreshing, astringent, cleansing and skin-reparative properties. Add it to creams, oils, scrubs, body powders, splashes and hair rinses.
Ginger (Zingiber officinale) oil is warm and spicy, Short haircut curly hair oval face and is used in preparations to increase circulation. Add it to bath blends, body oils, balms and liniments for sprains or achy, cold and rheumatic muscles and bones. Ginger mixed with other oils adds an exotic tone to the aroma blend. Lavender (Lavandula officinalis) oil has a strong, clean, refreshing, sweet, floral fragrance with a mid to high note. It is highly regarded for its therapeutic properties, and can be added to most skin preparations. Add to baths, oils, creams, splashes, scrubs, balms, steams, hair products and body powders for its antimicrobial, anti-inflammatory, analgesic and skin-regenerative properties. It is a normalizing oil that stimulates while relaxing.
Lemongrass (Cymbopogon citratus) oil has antiseptic, astringent, deodorizing and stimulating properties that can be added to creams, salves, oils, scrubs, hair products and body powders. It has a lemony aroma with an exotic, sweet tone. Lemongrass oil has a strong odor intensity, so use less of it than you would other oils. It is also added to bug repellents.
