Hey everyone. I’m Abby from Cute Girls Hair Styles, and today I’m going to show you how to do a D round braid. So I have begun already by just pulling her hair up into a pony tail and just to jazz it up a little bit, I went ahead and did a French back, you can see. And I have a post on how to do this hairstyle and I will put it right here so you can click on it if you want to know how just do the single French back. And all I’ve done differently is just teased it before braiding it today so it adds a little bit more fullness on the top, and I think it looks amazing. Now, to begin, you’re going to take the pony tail and just make sure it’s nice and combed out and then you’re going to section it into four pieces. So I’m going to just do one, two, three, and four and a placed them in between my four fingers.

Now, if I were going to number, these hair strands from left to right, it would be one, two, three, and four. And you’re going to take your pointer finger and pick up strand number three. So just reach in there and grab it, take your middle finger and pick up strand number one, and then with these two strands, you’re just going to twist them and lay them right in between your fingers. So now you have them all in this hand, in your left hand. You’re going to take your right hand, you’re going to take your pointer finger and pick up strand number two, reach in there, and then with your middle finger, you’re going to pick up strand number four, and then these two left over strands, you’re just going to twist them again and lay them in between your fingers. So right now if you looked at it, it kind of looks like nothing, but ultimately, when you get the whole braid done, it looks really cool. So, again, we’re going to start that whole process over again, pointer finger, strand number three, middle finger, strand number one, and then flip the last two pieces. Now, right hand, strand number two, pick it up, middle finger, strand number four, and then flip them. This is so hard to do slow. Now, we’re going to speed it up. Three, one, flip the last two and then two, and four, flip the last two. Three, one, flip the last two; two, four, flip the last two. Three, one, flip the last two; two, four, flip the last two. You see the pattern going?
Three, one, flip the last two, and I am just about out of hair, two, four, and flip the last two. And then when you get to where running out of hair, just secure it with an elastic that matches the hair so it’s not that visible. And then you can go back and pull the edges a little bit if you want just to make it look full, and you’re done. So look at this braid. If you twist it, it doesn’t matter which way you twist it, it looks exactly the same from every angle, which is why it’s like D. Like a normal four-strand braid would just lay flat against the head. In this one, it just is all round and D-looking, which I love because it’s so cool and different. And you are finished. I think it’s so adorable. I know that’s one people comment on because it’s really different looking. You just can twist it all over the place and it looks exactly the same. Let’s go ahead and spin you all the way around. I love the way this hair style looks. I think it may be one of my new favorites. So fancy, shmancy. So just for a little fun today, we thought we’d get some viewer interaction and tell them what they’re going to do.
