St. Johnswort Oil Homemade

This herbal-infused oil is excellent for strained and pained muscles and nerves. Massage into skin and repeat throughout the day or as needed. This oil is used in a variety of other formulas, and it would be wise to make a pint or quart of it to last for the year.

Make St. Johnswort-infused olive oil with fresh St. Johnswort flowers and buds and cold pressed olive oil and follow Directions for Herbal-infused Oils with Fresh Herbs.

St. Johnswort Tincture

This is an excellent remedy that is ingested for the relief of muscular and nerve pain. St. Johnswort is a cellular oxygenator that helps remove lactic acid buildup in the muscles and can help release nerve tension. After a strenuous workout, to prevent my muscles from getting sore I take about 1/2 teaspoon of St. Johnswort tincture, and I repeat the dose at 2-4 hour intervals for the following 24 hours.
