Our vision was to create a day that combined the Scandi aesthetic that I love – very minimal and graphic – with my Scottish roots. Our palette was very clean – light pinks and greys with hints of lemon yellow – to refect that. For contrast, my dress was created using delicate Spanish lace and silk tulle. I also borrowed a simple silver bracelet from my maid of honour. We had a children’s corner complete with a monkey piñata and craf table, and created a special pop-up ‘sweet shop’, with oversized glass pick’n’mix jars. Personalised glass Coke bottles also went down very well with our younger guests.
