Our skin lightens as we age, so it is important that you change your foundation makeup and blusher to complement the change. Above all, it’s never too late to stay out of the sun or to go into it fully protected with sun block and clothing. Many cosmetic companies are now formulating makeup products that include sunscreen as one of the active ingredients. Vitamins A and E are helpful in the support of the skin, and so is getting enough of the essential fatty acids in your diet. The so-called omega-three fatty acids are primarily found in fish and are believed to be heart-helping through lowering cholesterol and triglycerides and by improving blood circulation, which, in turn, helps our skin to look and feel better.
What can I do to help this feeling of being BLOATED ALL THE TIME?
Stop shaking the salt shaker. All the salt we need in our diets can be found in fresh vegetables, fruits, grains, and meats. Yet there is so much salt in prepared foods, such as catsup and salad dressings, that we should seek to eliminate salt from our diets whenever possible. Salt can increase bloating from fluid retention as well as increase blood pressure. Read labels and look for products that contain little or no salt. Use herbs and spices to make your food more flavorful. Salt is an acquired taste, so once you cut down, you will notice that salty food is much less appealing to you.
